Anthony Scaramucci launches new media venture

Scaramucci’s back.

About two months after he was famously ousted from the White House, the former communications director launched a new media venture called the Scaramucci Post on Monday.

Speaking to reporters at the launch held at his restaurant, the Hunt & Fish Club on W. 44th Street, Scaramucci struggled with his elevator pitch.

“It’s a social media, Periscoping, experiential thing,” he said.

Scaramucci later told a reporter, “I’m looking you dead in the face and saying I don’t know,” according to Buzzfeed.

Scaramucci, who is eschewing a website until he picks up more advertisers, reportedly signed the venture’s first sponsor – a site featuring female athletes called the Knockout Times.

The former hedge fund manager lasted just 11 days in the White House after he gave a wildly explicit interview with The New Yorker, in which he said former chief strategist Steven Bannon liked to “suck [his] own c—”.
