Actress Blake Lively has come forward with her own account of sexual harassment in Hollywood after Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual misconduct by dozens of women.
Lively, 30, revealed to the Los Angeles Times she was sexually harassed by a makeup artist — who said inappropriate things to her and filmed her while she was sleeping.
“He was saying things inappropriately, insisting on putting my lipstick on with his finger,” she told the L.A. Times. “I was sleeping one night on location and I woke up and he was filming me. I was clothed, but it was a very voyeuristic, terrifying thing to do.”
The actress’ complaints to producers went unanswered. She thought they were finally going to address it one day, but instead they complained to her about something much different.

“Finally,” she said, “after three months of complaining, they called me into my trailer and said, ‘We need to talk to you.’ I thought, ‘Well finally, they’re going to do something about this man who I had to have touching me all day,’” the “Gossip Girl” star explained.
“And they said, ‘Your dog left a poop behind the toilet in your dressing room and our janitor had to pick it up. And this is very serious and we can’t have this happen again,'” Lively continued.
Ultimately the makeup artist was removed from the project — which Lively didn’t name — after she hired a lawyer, who conducted an investigation.
“Our unit production manager wrote him a letter of recommendation because nobody wanted there to be bad blood,” she added.
The California native told her story after the New York Times and the New Yorker both published bombshell reports featuring countless women accusing Weinstein of sexual misconduct and rape.
Lively has starred in such films as “The Shallows,” “Green Lantern,” “The Age of Adaline” and “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.” She is perhaps best known for her role as Serena van der Woodsen on the CW drama “Gossip Girl.”
She is married to her “Green Lantern” co-star Ryan Reynolds. The couple shares two daughters Ines and James.
