Hipsters have to eat.
To whet appetites for its permanent Williamsburg, Brooklyn, location opening in the spring, Shake Shake launches a one-day-only pop-up Wednesday at North Brooklyn Farms at 320 Kent Ave.
Shack-ers are calling it a “surprise party for our new community.” Best of all, it comes with some free eats.
From 5:30-8 p.m., the spot will be giving away ShackBurgers and pumpkin frozen custard for the first 300 people in line. New Jersey-based independent alternative folk band Cold Weather Company will perform while they’re queued up.
But you need to pre-register with Shake Shack to take advantage of the complimentary chow. And note that RSVPs don’t guarantee entry, since the giveaway is first come, first served.
Shake Shack’s permanent Williamsburg restaurant address will be 160 Berry St., now home to Blue Bottle cafe, which is relocating nearby.
