Cops are searching for a gun-toting bandit who held up a Hell’s Kitchen liquor store.


Police released video of the brazen suspect Tuesday in the hope that someone recognizes the man who pulled a gun on a woman behind the counter of Cellar 53 Liquor Store on 10th Ave. near W. 53rd St. about 2:45 p.m. Thursday and ordered her to empty the till.

The harrowing video shows the man aiming the gun at his victim and threatening her before she takes a bag and empties the proceeds of the cash register into it.


The thief ran off with $780, cops said.


He’s believed to be between 45 and 50 years old, about 5-foot-5 and between 175 and 190 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue fleece pullover and a gray cap, cops said.
